Our first wedding of 2013

Our first wedding of the season came as quite a surprise to us. I don’t think Colleen could have ever prepared me for a wedding order AND design ONE WEEK before the wedding day! I got a call from a frantic Maid of Honor asking if I could design flowers for her friend after her florist backed out!! I was super worried, as I didn’t have any idea how the wholesaler worked yet, but asked what the flowers were that her friend was wanting … stargazer lilies and peacock dendrobium orchids. Lucky for her (and me!), the wholesaler had no problem getting the flowers in!! PHEW!

I also got quite a surprise when I was given the photo of the bouquet the bride was wanting to replicate…I had never done a cascade bouquet before…but I learned quickly, they weren’t super hard to design!

I was able to save the day and felt so great when I received my first:

Cydney was amazing to work with, She did a great job with my flowers, and she worked with my time crisis. I had a florist back out a week before the wedding and Cydney came through for me, Her prices were great as well considering the short notice, And she was able to get me everything I wanted.

She was my hero. and I’d recommend her to everyone.
