What could have gone wrong
After yesterday’s disaster, you’d think nothing would go wrong for today … I got home yesterday and immediately put a complete emergency kit together and double checked I had EVERYTHING before going to bed. So when I woke up this morning, I simply put everything (or so I thought) into the car to get down to the beautiful Sanctuary Golf Course for our delivery and setup for the beautiful Kate’s wedding.
Once setup to start putting together the large 5′ centerpieces together on site, I asked my intern Jordyn to place all the glass vases on the table … when I quickly realized, I had left ALL the vases at home!!! Shouldn’t have been a problem, except for the fact that my home is an hour away from the Sanctuary!! Ugh! Lucky for me, I have THE BEST neighbor in the world who came to my rescue! Kelly trekked all the way down to get me the vases…I so owe her!!
Once we got the vases, we were able to finalize everything…we got the toppers finished while we were waiting for the vases and were able to get all the personal flowers pinned and got to see the bride’s amazing reaction to seeing her bouquet (one of my favorite parts of the delivery!).
Flowers used: seeded eucalyptus, roses, spray roses, queen anne’s lace, delphinium, larkspur, curly willow, stock, wax flower, heather
